Assessment Report
Section titled “Assessment Report”A comprehensive document produced during the Entry phase that analyzes your current business state, identifies opportunities, and outlines recommendations.
An iterative approach to project management and software development that emphasizes flexibility, collaboration, and continuous delivery of value.
Business Legibility
Section titled “Business Legibility”The degree to which a business can be understood, measured, and controlled by its stakeholders. A core concept in our methodology. See Business Legibility Guide.
Bottleneck
Section titled “Bottleneck”A point in a process where flow is restricted, causing delays or reduced throughput.
Change Management
Section titled “Change Management”The structured approach to transitioning individuals, teams, and organizations from a current state to a desired future state.
Continuity
Section titled “Continuity”The third stage of business legibility, focused on building resilience so the business operates smoothly regardless of who is at the helm.
Control
Section titled “Control”The second stage of business legibility, where systems provide real-time visibility and the power to steer outcomes.
Deliverable
Section titled “Deliverable”A tangible output produced as part of a project phase, such as a report, software system, or documentation.
Discovery Call
Section titled “Discovery Call”An initial 30-minute conversation to understand your challenges and determine if there’s a fit for collaboration.
Entry Phase
Section titled “Entry Phase”The first phase of our engagement model, focused on discovery and assessment. Duration: 2-4 weeks.
The fifth stage of business legibility, representing the ability to leave the business on your terms with maximum value.
Implementation Phase
Section titled “Implementation Phase”The third phase of our engagement model, focused on building and deploying solutions. Duration: 8-16 weeks.
Integration
Section titled “Integration”The process of connecting different systems, applications, or data sources to work together seamlessly.
Key-Person Dependency
Section titled “Key-Person Dependency”A risk where critical knowledge or capabilities are concentrated in a single individual, creating vulnerability.
Legibility Journey
Section titled “Legibility Journey”The progression through five stages: Clarity → Control → Continuity → Scalability → Exit.
Methodology
Section titled “Methodology”Our structured four-phase approach to business transformation: Entry, Design, Implementation, Retainer. See Our Methodology.
Opportunity Map
Section titled “Opportunity Map”A prioritized list of improvement areas identified during the Entry phase, including estimated impact and effort.
Process Mapping
Section titled “Process Mapping”The activity of documenting workflows, showing how tasks, information, and materials flow through an organization.
Retainer Phase
Section titled “Retainer Phase”The fourth phase of our engagement model, providing ongoing partnership and continuous improvement.
Roadmap
Section titled “Roadmap”A strategic plan that outlines the vision, direction, priorities, and progress of a project over time.
Scalability
Section titled “Scalability”The fourth stage of business legibility, enabling growth without proportionally growing complexity.
Sprint
Section titled “Sprint”A time-boxed iteration (typically 2 weeks) in agile development where a set of features is developed and delivered.
Stakeholder
Section titled “Stakeholder”Any individual or group with an interest in or influence over a project or business outcome.
Transformation Roadmap
Section titled “Transformation Roadmap”A phased plan produced during Entry that outlines the path from current state to desired future state.
Tribal Knowledge
Section titled “Tribal Knowledge”Undocumented information, processes, or skills that exist only in the minds of certain individuals.
Workshop
Section titled “Workshop”A collaborative session where stakeholders work together to solve problems, make decisions, or create artifacts.
